The definition of a budget is the annual estimate of revenue and expenditure of an entity, either a business or a person.

This switch enables you to have the option of entering your forecast budget values for each Nominal Ledger Account for the current and future financial periods. Using your budget option allows you to compare your generated figures with the budgeted ones and make adjustments where necessary.
