Group your stock items into user-definable categories (i.e. different type of stock items like tools and paint) and extract reports on these categories.
This option allows you to set up multiple stock categories. You then assign each stock item to a category.
You can then search, report and group data by these categories. The categories can also be used when defining Customer Deals (switch SF106) under the Customers Module
