Create, save and print a Proforma Invoice which does not generate any financial transactions or reserve stock. This can then be edited and eventually converted into a standard invoice.
A Proforma Invoice creates a Proforma Invoice document for a customer.
However this document does NOT update the customer account in any way, nor are any stock levels affected by the document.
A Proforma Invoice is much like a quotation and is often used to obtain finance or customs clearance. It can be edited and changed. it can then be converted into an Invoice once it has been finalised.
